A LABORER DROWNED. AUCKLAND, Oct. 25. A man named Alexander Smith, laborer, 25 years of age, was drowned. in the harbor to-night. In company with his mate he went out in a dinghy t.> a yacht. The sea was rough .and the dinghy swamped. Smith clung to the dinghy while his mate went far assistance, 'but no trace of Smith was found when help arrived.
