NAPIER, Oct. 26. The inquiry l into the working of the Hospital and the reason of so many changes in the nursing staff, will he held on Tuesday next. ALLEGED SLANDER.
‘An action has been set down for hearing at the next sessions of the Supreme urt, in which Edward J. Baldwin, of Waipukurau, journalist, claims from William Edwin Bennett, of Waipukurau, newspaper proprietor, the sum of £IOSO for* alleged slander.
