NORTH ISLAND CHAMPIONSHIP MEETING. (Per Press Association.) WANGANUI, Oct. 26. The North Island rifle championship meeting will be held at Wanganui on December 27th and 28th. The local executive committee have decided to carry out last year’s programme, with the exception that bull’s-eye targets will be used. THE KING'S PRIZE. (United Press Association —Copyright.) MELBOURNE. Oct. 26. At the annual meeting of the Rifle Association Parsons (Woollongong) is leading at the end of the second stage of the King’s prize. At the Rifle Association meeting Col. Preston and Sergt. James won £1 each in the first stage of the. King’s prize, and in the Frank Stuart match Preston won £3, and James and Batt £1 each in the Members’ match.
