TO SECURE 1746d01. FROM AN ESTATE.

E. J. Harlan, as a private individual and creditor of the estate of the late Thomas Brother, San Jose, U.S., brought a suit in the Superior Court against E. J. Harlan and John T. Harmes, executors of the late will and testament of the late Thomas Brothers. Harlan wants the Court to compel him to pay himself 1740d01. oOcents Thomas Brother, according to tho complaint, died intestate at the home of E. J. Harlan on Juno 13th, and E. J. Harlan and John T. Harmes were in due course appointed by the Probate Court as administrators of his estate. Harlan duly presented a claim for 1746 50 against the estate, setting up services performed for the late Thomas Brother during his last illness. Judge P. F. Gosbey disallowed it, and Harlan brought suit.
