ENTERTAINMENTS.

PATIIE PICTURES

The management of the Pathe Pictures have been prevailed upon- to include in the new series of pictures to be screened this evening one or two of the best items of the mid-week series, but. in other respects th programme will be entirely new. Patrons will doubtless receive with m'uch pleasure' the- Vitagraph Co.’s comedy “Davy Jones or His Wife’s Husband,” which is one of a, series with which. every picture-goer is familiar. The sterling humor of the situations conjured up is at one and the same time innocent and yet charged with all the elements which produce hearty laughter. “The Indian. . Maiden’s Lesson*’ is a drama, of rare type, and it details a story which should awaken interest in all patrons, as it deals, not with the wild life- of the red men, but with the noble characteristics they evince when left alone in their tranquillity. Another drama commanding attention is that entitled “Love for Ever,” whilst a novel scenic depictioni treats on “Picturesque France,” and contained in it are a series of views of Chartreuse during a storm, showing the gathering of the black electrically charged clouds and the lightning flashing through them. This programme wilL be screened for one might only.
