A POLL of tho Ratepayers in tike Darwin Road SnpeiaL Rating District will bo taken at the Office of the Goods County Council, Childers Road, Gisborne, on FRIDAY, 24th November, 1911, upon a proposal by this Council to raise a Loan of £IOOO for the purpose of constructing an outlet drain from do Lautour Road to the Waimata River, and the purchase of the necessary land for the drain. The work proposed to be undertaken is the construction of a connecting road in Section 14 of 266, Kaiti. The works proposed to be undertaken are formation, metalling, and drains for surface water. All persons having any objection to the taking of the land, or who will be injuriously affected by tlie construction of the proposed road, arc required to state their objection in writing, and send the writing to the office of the Cook County Councii, Childers Road, Gisborne, on or before the 23rd day of November, 1911.
