WOOLBUYERS’ TROUBLE.
AUCKLAND BROKERS OPPOSED
(Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Nov. 9
The Auck’and Wooibrdkers’ Association are opposed to tlie attitude adopted by the -New Zealand Association in refusing to compromise with the oversea buyers on the .cash on delivery dispute, and they are determined not to allow the local sale on the 22nd inst. to be prejudiced by the absence of oversea buyers. Previously tliq buyers agreed to the enforcement of the c.0.d., conditionally on the brokers paying interest between the time of delivery and prompt payment date —a matter of six or seven days. The brokers are prepared to allow interest for five days only. The Auckland Association has always been prepared to allow full interest, and has written to the president of the New Zealand Association, asking him to make known to visiting buyers their action, and threatening secession unless there is an adjustment.
