(Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Nov. 10. A westerly storm area still controls the weather conditions,, and heavy thunderstorms occurred in parts of tlie North Island last night, know has fallen, on the higher levels and hail has also been reported m tlie South, and rain on the West Coast and m some other parts. The barometer has fallen everywhere, and is very low m the South. Present indications are tor high south-westerly winds. Generally colder weather and rain is probable in most parts of the coimtry. The barometer will probably rise shortly everywhere. Stormy westerly weather is likely to continue for several days southward of New Plymouth and Napier. ‘
