Oil his being convicted of drunkenness for the fourth time during the past six months, a. youthful looking nidividua-l named George Smith,. alias SaviU, who appeared 1 in the S.M. Gontrt on, Saturday morning', was sentenced to three months’ imprisonment at the Napier gaol. _ A further charge of having procured 1 liquor during the currency of a. prohibiton order against him _ was heard, and. l accused was also convicted in this instance, a fin© of £5 with ctolsts 2s, in default one month’s imprisonment being inflicted. A prohibition order was also made against accused.
