ENTERTAINMENTS.
HARRY RICKARD’S VAUDEVILLE COMPANY. There have been many fine attractions sent to New Zealand by the firm of Harry Rickards, but it is questionable whether any surpass in interest those to be submitted on Saturday next, at His Majesty’s Theatre. Binns.a'nd Binns have been unusually successful •in Australia and quite recently at Auckland. The turp is described as the most striking and entertaining musical and comedy act seen in the Dominion for some considerable time. Another act of sjpecial interest is the gymnastic exhibition by Mdlle. Aleide Capitaine, who is said to be a graceful and brilliant equilibrist. The comedy and dancing performance of Messrs Clarke and Mostol is unique in conception, and their entertainment throughout their Australian seasons has been a triumphal success. Pastor and Merle will appear in a speciality, introducing singing and dancing and tumbling; and among the other artists comprising the combination are Messrs Carlton Max, ventriloquist; Sydney Bach, a. notable Welsh Society entertainer; Alf. Holt, American mimic- Godfrey James, the Welsh singing collier; Tom Dawson, Comedian ; and the Misses Fanny Powers, comedienne; Camille Cornwall, soprano; and the Marlowe Sisters. The box .plans for the season will be opened at Miller’s corner at 10 a.m. to-morrow morning.
