RUSSIA’S ULTIMATUM TO PERSIA

A Russian Note demands the withdrawal by the Treasury of the gendarmes from the property of Shua-es-bul-taneh, who fled after the failure or ms brother, the .ex-Shah, to regain control in Persia, and for whose capture a reward of £SOOO has been offered. Russia also repeats her demand for an apology, and the Note declares that failing a satisfactory response, the relations between the two countries will CGRSG. The “Times’ ’’ Teheran correspondent states that Russia’s demands for an apology by Persia were made m ignorance of the real facts. _ (Received Nov. IEU 12.35 a.m.) TEHERAN, Nov. 14. The head' of the Foreign Office has informed the Russian Minister that until a Cabinet is formed it is impossible to reply to the ultimatum.
