WOOLBUYERS’ TROUBLE.
AN AMICABLE SETTLEMENT.
V (Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Nov. 14. A conference was held to-day between delegates from .the New' Zealand Wool. Brokers’ Association and representatives of the N.Z. Wool Buyers’ Association, when the matters in dispute. in connection with the local sales, which came to a head at, the recent sale in Wellington, were discussed. The whole position was fully gone into, and an amicable agreement upon all points was arrived at. This arrangement will be adhered to at the different sales that, will lie held at various centres during the season, commencing with the first sale to be held in Christchurch to-mor-row. There is only a small entry of 3000 bales for sale, the broken weather having delayed shearing somewhat, and the doubt as to whether the sale would take place kept some lots back.
