The launch will connect at 6 a.m. and 10 a.m., and the Wimmera proceeds to Sydney, via Auckland and Tokomaru Bay, about noon. Miller, Dean Gannon. For Sydney: Mrs. Codrington The Union Co.’s Mokoia is timed to clear Auckland to-day for Tokomaru Bay and Gisborne ,and should arrive here tomorrow afternoon. She will be tendered on arrival and at 5 p.m., leaving for Napier and the South later. The bookings are as follows: —Mr. and Mrs. Nolan. Mr. and Mrs. F. Lvsnar, Mr. and Mrs. McCallum. Mr. and Mrs. Mander, Misses Hutton, Moir, and Hill; Mrs. Davies; Rev. Kimberley; Messrs. Herington, Troup, Baird, and Bowring. Messrs. Richardson and Co.’s Ripple, from southern ports, arrived here early yesterday morning, and berthed at the wharf on the morning tide. She brought a general cargo, on the discharge of which she sailed for Wellington.^ The shipments taken by the New Zealand Shipping Co.’s Rimutaka from this port and from Tokomaru Bay were as follows: —Shipped from Tokomaru Bay: By Tokomaru Farmers’ Co.: 613 bales wool. Bank of New Zealand: 99 bales wool. National Bank: 36 bales wool. Williams and Kettle, Ltd.: 274 bales wool. N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co.. Ltd.: 241 bales wool. Bennett and Sherratt: 189 bales wool. Total. 1452 bales wool. From Gisborne—By Williams and Kettle. Ltd.: 651 bales wool. N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd.: 732 bales wool, 3 dumps skins, 4 sacks hair. 9 casks tallow. Bank of New South Wales: 140 bales wool. Bank of New Zealand: 862 bales wool. Bennett and Sherratt: 954 bales wool. Common, Shelton, and Co.: 90 bales wool. Total, 2842 bales wool. The Kaikoura will be the next of this company’s steamers to load at Gisborne, being due about December 7. The Union Co.’s Kowhai is expected to arrive this morning from Wellington, via Napier, with a general cargo. She is to load cattle after discharging, and returns to Greymouth. The Union Co.’s Waitemata is expected to arrive from Napier and southern ports to-morrow, and proceeds to Auckland after discharging. The Union Co.’s Haupiri is now on the East Coast, and is due in Auckland tomorrow. The ketch Coronation left this portyesterday for Whitianga, where she will load timber for Gisborne. Messrs. Richardson and Co.’s Fanny is due here from East Coast ports morning, resuming her passage to Napier about noon. The Maoriland Shipping Co.’s Holmdale left Greymouth yesterday for Gisborne, and is expected to reach this port on Monday morning. Messrs. Richardson and Co.’s Koutunui is due from Auckland, via East Coast bays, to-day, sailing on the return passage to Auckland, via Tologa Bay and Tokomaru Bay, about 5 p.m. The Union Co.’s Squall was expected to clear Auckland for Tologa Bay and Gisborne last night. The schooner Awanui sailed for Whitianga yesterday to load timber for Gisborne. The Union Co.’s local branch has ; - sued the following information concerning steamers to call at Milford Sound : It has been arranged that the followi •: steamers will call at Milford Sound o route from Bluff to Hobart next year, weather and circumstances permitting : Manuka, from Bluff. Monday, February 5; Ulimaroa, from Bluff, Monday, February 12; Moeraki, from Bluff. February 19. * Steamers cannot call at Milford Sound on the reverse trip from Hobart to Bluff, as time will not permit. Passengers by the above steamers will be accepted for Milford Sound, as previously, at* their own risk of overcarrying to Hobart, in which case Hobart fares will be charged in addition to the spiecial single saloon rates to Milford Sound, which are as follows: From Dunedin £3, from Bluff £2 10s.
