r llio newspapers in Britain, Franco amd Germany shew intense interest over Sir Edward Grey’s statement. There are many indications of Radical unrest as tho result of the British foreign policy. The' “Morning Leader”, declares that the Anglo-French entente led to an immense revival of the revenge- idea in France and embittered the relations of Britain and Germany. Unless Sir Edward Grey can help to open a now chapter the Radicals and Laboritcs will make a stand on behalf of peace. The “Daily News” states that Britain in allowing the piratical invasion of Tripoli permitted France to tear up the Algociras agreement, and Russia to overrun Persia. Parliament must recover the control of the Foreign Office, and a. Foreign Office Committee of the House of Commons must be appointed. It would he a happy augury, declared the paper, if tho Rt. Hon, Jas. Bryce, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenepotentiary at Washington, were transferred' to Berlin.
