DEATH FROM BURNS
(Per Press Association.) ROTORUA, Nov. 27. Ella Isabel Findlay, a married proman died in the Sanatorium last night as the result of burns sustained last Sunday. Her bed caught fire from a curtain ignited by a candle having been placed too near. MAN’S FINGERS CUT OFF. WANGANUI, Nov. 27. While working a bench saw at Green, Mae Lean and Beavan’s sash and door factory to-dav a young man named Frank McDevatt had his thumb and all the fingers save the fourth of the right hand cut off. He was taken to the hospital, where he is progressing satisfactory.
