ENTERTAINMENTS.

PATHE PICTURES

Bi" attractions are hilled to be produced at His Majesty’s Theatre this evening, the programme being entirely new. Possibly the item which will lie most warmly appreciated is the Alaskan drama entitled “A Klondyke Steal. It is a romance amid the snows. and ice of the great gold country, taking the onlooker among the Eskimos after a journey on dog sleds driven by a celebrated" guide. Many startling adventures peculiar to the wild and unsettled region in which the play is enacted characterise the film as being well worthy of the Yitagraph Co., hy whom it is produced. Being issued under tho auspices of the science scries,. “From Egg to Chick” is a marvellous film, showing the development of the embryo in a hen’s egg through all its stages to the hatching of the chicken. This process, it is sate to assert, has seldom before been witnessed hy human eyes, and should he of tho greatest., educational value. “The Lighthouse Keeper’s Peril” is a story of cowardice and heroism with a strangely complicated plot and a wealth of wild" natural scenery. The series also includes several guaranteed mirth-producers, and the whole should be much enjoyed.
