BAY OF PLENTY. NOTICE OF ELECTION. IN pursuance of the Legislature Act, 1908, and its amendments, I, Alan Percival Day, Returning Officer for the Electoral District for the Lav of Plenty, do hereby give notice that by virtue of a writ bearing date the 21st duv of November, 1911, under the hand of the Clerk of Writs, an Election will be held for the return of a qualified person to serve as MernV r for the said District, and that the following have lieen. nominated as Candidates: DeLALTOUR, Harry Douglas MacDONALD, William Donald Stuart The POLL will be taken at the several Polling-places of the said District on the SEVENTH day of December, 1911, eommencirrg at the hour of nine o’clock a.ni., and closing at the hour of six o’clock p.m.

The amount proposed to be borrowed is £SIOO. The works proposed to be executed are:— (1) Constructing a new line of road from Tuawhata Block to Section 65. Paremata, on the main East. Coast: road. (2) Erecting a Cart Bridge across the Mangaheia Stream at Wigan Settlement. The sum proposed to be borrowed for the new road is £4500. The sum proposed to be borrowed for the bridge is £6OO. The security to be given is a Special Rate of One-Twelfth of a Penny in the £1 on the ratable value of all ratable property in the Tologa Riding for a period of 361 years. It. is proposed to pav the cost or raising the loan and interest for one year out of the loan monies. A POLL of the Ratepayers of the Tologa.
