STRONGLY OPPOSED BY UNIONISTS. “AN IGNOBLE CONSPIRACY.” [united press association —copyright] (Received Dec. 8, 11 p.m.) LONDON, Dec. 8. Mr Bonar Law (Unionist Leader) at Bootle, in emphasising and. uttering tliat it was impossible for Home Rule to be carried as a part of the Liberal corrupt political bargain, remarked that although he would grant that Homo Rule from a party standpoint was an advantage to Unionists, inasmuch, as the Nationalists were solidly against them, the Unionists were determined to oppose Home Rule to the last gasp. When tlie time came, ho said, there would bo no shrinking. Strong action was needed to defeat one of the most ignoble conspiracies ever formed against the liberties of freeborn men.
