The auxiliary schooner Kaeo was yesterday at Port Awanui, where her progress is reported to have been stopped bi the westerly winds prevailing. The Union Co.’s steamer Monowai arrived from Napier and southern ports at an earlv hour yesterday morning, and proceeded to Auckland, via Tokomaru Bay, after being tendered at the usual hours. „ , , n , Messrs. Huddart, Parker, and Co. s Wimmera, from Sydney, via Auckland, passed East Cape at 9 a.m. yesterday, and called at Tokomaru Bay, arriving at this port about 3 p.m. She was tendered on arrival and at 7 p.m., leaving tor JNapier later in the evening. The shipments from this port taken b* the Shaw, Savill. and Albion Co. s I akeha, which loaded here recently, were as follow -.—Shipped by Gisborne Sheeprarmers’ Co.: 5 bales wool. By Dalgety and Co.: 844 bales. Common, Shelton, and Co!: 726 bales. Loan and Mercantile Co.: 25 hales. Williams and Kettle: 478 bales. Total, 2078 bales. Shipped by Gisborne Sheepfarmers’ Co.: 100 casks tallow, 23 casks pelts, 9538 carcases frozen mutton, 1367 carcases lamb, 445 quarters beep 4-0 pieces mutton, 20 cases frozen sundries. Owing to her docking at Dunedin having [interfered with her adhering to the usual time-table, the Union Co. s Mokoia is not expected to reach. Gisborne from the South until the evening of Wednesday next, instead of the morning. It is possible that she will not connect here ■until Thursday morning. . , .
