MILK SUPPLY AFFECTED

[per press association.'] ELTHAM, .I)fec. 13. The. unfavorable season is seriously affecting the milk supplies, but the amount paid out is greater than for the corresponding period last year. For the three months ending November. the Eltham Company manufactured 627,593 pounds of butter, paying ont £25,920, as against 677,5931 b and £24,559 for the corresponding period of 1910. The output of butter boxes and cheese crates by the Egmont Box Factory shows, a decrease of 10 per cent, compared with last year.

BANK OF NEW ZEALAND. WELLINGTON, Dec. 13. The general manager of the National Bank of New Zealand has received a cable from London, advising tliat the Board) of Directors has declared an interim dividend for the half-year to 30th September last at the rate of 12 per cent, per annum, which will be paid in the Dominion on the 3rd prox. At the City Court, Margaret Parker, owner of the ex-Racecourse hotel at St. Kilda, was fined £75 and costs for sly-grog selling. Four men found on the premises when the police raided l them were each fined 10s and costs.
