DEATH FROM HEART FAILURE. [per press association.] CHRISTCHURCH, December 21. A man named James Cotton, aged about 55, died suddenly at Dunsandel on Tuesday. He came from Christchurch that morning by train with others. Ho got off and went to sleep on a cool platform. An hour later he was iound ter be dead. An , inquest was held, and a verdict was given. that death was due to- heart trouble, accelerated by alcoholic poisoning. SHIP WORKER’S DEATH. WELLINGTON, Dec. 21. An inquest on the body of William Wrixon, who died on Tuesday, as the result of being knocked from the deck of the Manuka to the wharf by a sling on the 15th, was held to-day. A verdict of accidental death was returned. The coroner said that some steps should be taken to provide workers with some protection on deck. \
