BRIDGE WASHED AWAY.
[UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION —COPYRIGHTJ HOBART, Dec. 22. Dr. Mawson’s vessel, the Aurora, had a rough trip to Macquarrie Island. She encountered heavy seas. Half the bridge was washed away. A seamen was swept overboard, but was recovered by means of a rope:
