ACTION BY MARCONI CO. POSSIBLE. [united press association COPYRIGHT] MELBOURNE, Dec. 22. The Marconi Company has formally intimated to the Federal Government that it intends to take such -action as is necessary to protect its patents in other States. The Government is proceeding with the system. It intends to iegister stations at Hobart, Melbourne, Port- Moresby, and Cooktown or Thursday Island, each to cost £16,000, and high power stations at Fremantle and Sydney, to cost £46,000.
