Christmas Don’ts.

Don’t over-cat, don’t over-drink In all things—even good things—be. temperate. Don’t waste any time wishing you had as much money to spend on Christmas festivities as someone else. Make the best of what you have got. When sending presents to your friends don’t omit to tie them up securely and label them' well. If you fail to do so you will disappoint your friend, yourself, and bring down objurgations on vour head from some unlucky official of the Post Office.

Christmas is rightly regarded as the children’s festival, and healthy children are seldom happy except when making a noise. Don’t get cross about it; you were once as bad yourself, if not worse.

Don’t offer your mite in aid of tks unfortunate grudgingly. Don’t envy anybody, don't despise anybody. These are the best "don’t-s” both for Christmastide and for eyery other time.

Don’t allow your children to handle toys in a shop, unless you are going to purchase them.

Don't gire your children nciry toys as Christmas is a home festival.

Don’t pass your landlord without a nod and "A merry Christmas to you/’ if you desire to get that alteration you wanted carried out. Some people imagine they cannot enjoy themselresc without playing practical jokes and indulging in liberties with other peoples feelings or belongings. The best adrice to such people is simply, "Don’t.” If they want ftamplified, it reads, "Don’t be a fool.”
