The Wellington tramway men have withdrawn the threat to strike on New Year’s Day unless Inspector Fuller, ticket checker, is removed from service. The City Council will hold a special meeting next Wednesday to investigate the union’s allegations against Inspector Fuller. This will be open to the press, and the union will bring detailed charges supported by evidence.
