At the Westport Boxing Association’s tournament, in six round special -bouts, Moffatt (Denniston) defeated Costa (Westport), and W. Senior (Westport) defeated J. Hunter (Nelson). ' The'professional match, J. Griffin (Greymonth) and P. W. Cootes. (Cape FoUlwind) was won ’ by Cootes on a knock-out in the 11th round, after a very even fight. At the Westport Boxing Association’s tournament to-day J. O’Neill defeatedDaton on points in three' round bouts, arid'Wolgast skied.the towel to F. EUis at the end of three rounds in the special six round bout. The professional bout of 15 rounds for £6O between Peter Cooke, Newcastle,-N-S-W., and A. Kelley, 'Westport, was won by the former on after a good exhibition of boxing.
