Records Were broken during the afternoon by H, Kerr, who covered the three-mile walk in 21min 36 3-ssecs, beating his own previous championship record of 22m in 2 2-s®ecs, and Wilson’s record of 21min 37secs. G. N. Hill put up a fine performance in the 2-mile flat handicap, beating the record he created on Friday last by G 1 secs, and the New Zealand record by 12secs. L. H. Kelly, of Victoria, broke his own record of 6ft 0 l-sin. in high jump handicap, clearing 6ft 1 which is an Australasian amateur record.. John Drake lowered L. McKay’s standard in the pole jump, clearing 10ft 9in. This event took nearly an hour and a-half to decide, and could be abandoned with advantage. Opie and Keddell were again successful. Neither were pushed over much to secure victory. Soil thee (N.S.W.) put up a good performance in the running board jump, covering 22ft •ljin. The following are the results :
