THE HANDICAPS
The following handicaps were declared last night by Mr J. Callaghan, handicapper, for the Muriwai sports on New Year’s Day: Muriwai Handicap.—J. The handicapper has done his work well, and there should be close finishes in the various events. The ments for the sports have all been completed, and the only thing recall red to make the gathering an unqualified success is that fine weather snould be experienced.
