PATHE PICTURES
The most appealing! number of the new programme of pictures to be introduced at His Majesty’s Theatre to-night is a delightful Indian story pictured by the Kalem Company, under the title of “The Love of Summer Morn,’’ and in it figures a hitherto unpictured bit of Californian scenery in the Sehenango Valley, which is said to be very beautiful. Upon the report of an Indian uprising the 13th Cavalry appears upon the scene land goes into! camp. In the course of their wanderings two scouts break in the sanctity of the Sacred Pool where an Indian maid is performing her ablutions, and a disturbance ensues. The scouts are in danger of being shot by th© ,girl’s father, when he' is prevented from so doing by the arrival of two officers. One of the' officers l is smitten v ith love for the Indian, and his courtshi- is attended by much that is picturesque' and. beautiful. “A Sawmill Hero” is a' story of a young man’s excellent qualities of self-assertivencss, and how he demonstrated his independence and earned his title to manhood'. A capital subject showing the complete performance. of a well-known troupe of acrobats is contained in “ETan’ison’s Troupe,’’while tire series includes “Their First Misunderstanding,” “The Realm of Rodks,” and a. number of good comedies.
