Messrs Huddart Parker and Co.’s \\ imrnera is due to arrive in the roadstead from Sydney, via Auckland and Tokomaru Bay. tiiis afternoon. r lhe luatea leaves the wharf to connect on arrival and at 7 p.m., the Wimmera continuing her passage south later in the evening. The Union Co.'s Haupiri is expected to arrive here from Napier and the south to-dav. and proceeds to Auckland later. Captain Morrison, late of the Squall, has been promoted to command of the Haupiri. and will take charge on the vessel s arrival at Auckland. The Union Co/s cargo steamer Kowhai, is timed to arrive here from southern ports on Saturday. She brings a general cargo, on the discharge of which she will load cattle and proceed to Greymouth. Messrs Richardson and Co. > Koutunui arrived here from East Coast ports yesterday morning, and sailed on the return passage to Auckland on completing her discharge. TELEGRAPHIC.
