Two Canadian Pacific trains crashed into one another head-on at Terre Bonne, Quebec, at full speed. They were crowded with passengers attending special Epiphany services. Thirty-seven are reported to be dead, but it is impossible at present to ascertain the actual number. Many bodies wore recovered from the wreckage. Coaches were derailed.
