CRICKET BARRACKING.
COMMENT BY THE ENGLISHMEN. [united press association —copyright] LONDON, Jan. 8. Air Warner, writing to the Westminster Gazette, says: “There was a certain amount of barracking in the New South Wales match. The Board of Control sav they are determined to put it down.” I redale, the Victorian cricketer, cabling to the Daily Mail, says that he is surprised that the barracking in test matches was noticed in the Evening News, and points out that Hobbs’ criticisms referred to the New South Wales match.
