[per press association.] WELLINGTON, Jan. 12. A northerly and easterly breeze has prevailed, and the weather litas been, changeable, fair in parts t-o-day, but generally cloudy to overcast, and a few isolated showers have fallen. Tlie barometer lias recorded but little change of atmospheric pressure. Forecast and present indications are for hazy and cloudy conditions, but unsettled at times', with misty rain in pails. Moderate to strong northerly and easterly winds are probable, but the barometer is due to rise shortly, when the winds will change to the south and bring cooler conditions for a short period.
