A URUGUAYAN DECREE. [UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION —COPYRIGHT] MONTE VIDEO, Jan. 14. A decree compels all passenger vessels trading to Uruguay to be fitted with wireless by the Ist of May. A NEW ZEALAND STATION. MATERIAL FOR AWANUI. [PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.] AUCKLAND, Jan. 10. The first consignment of material for the liigh-power' wireless station to be erected at Awanui has arrived in Auckland, and it is expected to make a start with the erection of the ironwork in about a month. The machinery for the station has yet to come to hand. Equipment for a ' low-power station to be erected somewhere in the vicinity of Auckland has, it is understood, now has ordered.
