CHINAMAN CHOOSES DEATH. IN PIffiEERENCE TO ILL-HEIAILTH. [per press association!] THAMES, Jan. 17. ■ A Chinese laundryman, Hoong On, was found shot to-day. When customers called they found the premises locked. The window was opened, and the Chinaman was seen lying in the kitchen dead. He had placed a revolver, fully loaded, in his mouth, and fired. The roof of the mouth was shattered. Death was instantaneous. No reason was assigned, except that deceased complained of ill-health.
