A SYMPATHETIC STRIKE. (Received January 22, 8.40 p.m.) SYDNEY", Jan. 22. The engine drivers of the Commonwealth Oil Corporation works, Newnes, struck, refusing to handle non-union coal. They support the Company s miners already on strike. Altogether about four hundred employees are affected.
