POVERTY BAY' CLUB
The weelclv meeting of the P.B. Bowing Club was held last evening, in the club-house. Present Messrs. J. \\ebb (in the chair), J. Stewart A. McConnell, S. Ledger, J. Corbett, G. Douglas, W. Hall, A. Kirk, S. Doig, 1. Snowden. It was decided that the following brew should leave by motor car tins morning for the Wmroa regatta: . G. Douglas, J. Pnckett, W. Hall, and T. ': M Owin” el to a number of . collisions, between crews on the river, it was decided to adhere strictly to the rule of the road in regard to navigation—those boats in charge of coxswains to give way to single Jt was decided to commence the double sculls for Mr. Broad's Cup on :Thursday. The following handicaps have been declared, and the races start at 5 p.m. in the following order:— . Weston v. Cresswell (7sec) v. Hansen and Pavey (9sec); Kirk and Paul (4sec) v.
