QUEER LOVE STORY.
A remarkable story of- how a man, having lost tlie-girl lie wanted to marry kept up the illusion that he had married her, is reported from Budapest-. Michael Kolossy, a property-owner in Kleinpest, had, for several years been in love with Malwine Marmorstein, the daughter of a merchant, and noted for her beauty. Her parents were not in favor of the match, and the girl mar ri ed a, man named G aspar. Subsequently it was found that Koloss} bad a wax figure made to renmsent Malwine. and! that lie had it beautifully dressed. He made love, to the figure for over a. year before bis «ecr-ai was discovered by his landlady.
