WINE MERCHANT RUNS AMOK. [UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT! PARIS, Jan. 25. M. Veran, a v r ine merchant, after losing a case before the Marseilles tribunal, exclaimed “I am ruined/’ and fatally shot with a revolver a rival lanvyer. The attendants sprang on M. Veran, who wrenched himself free, shot another rival lawyer and then attempted suicide. The litigants and lawyers fled' amidst a panic.
