TURAN&ANUICLUB. Ladies’ afternoon, on. the Turanganui green was quite a success, about sixty of the fair sex being present, and all enjoyed the games, either of bowls or croquet. A feature of the afternoon was the game between two l rinks of ladies skipped by Messrs H. J. Finn and M. Neill. This, although uncompleted, proved very interesting. Afternoon tea was provided by Mesdames Bruce and Finn. It is the intention of the committee to set apart a green for ladies’ bowling, so as to encourage lady membei’s. who will be always welcomed.
