DETERMINED NUNS,
BARRICADE BURNING CONVENT.
[UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION —COPYRIGHT] (Received Jan- 30, 11 p.m.) PARIS, Jan. 19. A fire broke out at the Convent of Saint Claire, at Hapuy. In order to keep the rule forbidding men to enter the nuns barricaded the burning building against the firemen and police. Seven aged nuns were found unconscious when th police battered down the door, and they rescued them with difficulty.
