BOXING.
TIMARU’S ASSOCIATION. [per press association.] TIMARU. Jam 30. The annual meeting of the Timaru Boxing Association to-night- adopted its report and balance-sheet, the latter showing a credit of £42. The total income was £458, and the expenditure in five competitions (trophies and preparations) £330. The membership was 66. Others were- 1 proposed and returned. Officers were re-elected, and others added were R. Cooke, referee; E. G. Kerr, and H. Goodwin, judge. Mr. J. POleang, secretary, was eulogised for his capable management, and the secretary was voted 10 guineas.
