GOVERNMENT METEOROLOGIST’S FORECAST. % , £per PRESS ASSOCIATION.’] WELLINGTON, Feb. 6. The weather has been very warm and humid over the North Island, and cloudiness has increased generally, with drizzling rain in the southern districts and on the East Coast of the South Island. Moderate to strong westerly and south westerly winds have prevailed with an unsteady bar. Present indications are for moderate to strong westerly winds northward of East Cape and Kawhia, and southerly and south easterly winds elsewhere, showery and changeable weather probably on all the East Coast, ana unsettled elsewhere at times, but probably improving elsewhere shortly. The barometer has a rising tendency, except about East Cape.
