PERSONAL NOTES.
Mr. W. A.’ Barton returned from the coast on Saturday evening. Mr. McArthy, S.M., of Napier, who was associated with him on the bench of enquiry into the Hauroto licensing poll returned to Napier by the Monowai last evening, and Mr Dyer, S.M., returned to Auckland by the Tarawera vesterday. * Mr. W. D. S. MacDonald, M.P. for the Bay of Plenty, was a passenger to Napier* by the Monowai last evening, and will 'attend a Government caucus to be held this evening prior to the session commencing oil the 13th. Mr. George Lysnar left for the South by the Monowai* last night. 'The Rev. Butterfield returned from the South on Saturday morning. Mr Atkins, architect for the Gisborne hospital, returned to Wellington by last night’s steamer.
