POVERTY BAY* CLUB. A meeting of ‘the committee of the Poverty Bay Rowing Club was held laste.vening, the following being present:— Messrs- J. Webb (chairman), 0. .VtcC'ornell, J. Corbett, G. Douglas, W. Hall, and A. KirkMr. O. Hansen, was appointed to the vacancy "on the committee caused by the resignation of Mr. S. Doig, who has left the district. Mr. G. Douglas was appointed to net on the selection committee during the absence of Mr. J- Stuart. Messrs. 0. Hansen and W- Hall were appointed a visiting committee for the week. ■ . In view of the absence, of several members of crews competing for the President’s Fours, the following alterations were made: —V. West is to take a place in Clark’s crew, Pavitt m Ingram’s crew, and W. Wilson in Somervell’s crow.
