The British Australasian estimates that the Commonwealth is in danger of losing ££l,ooo emigrants this year through insufficient transport accommodation. ARRANGEMENTS ON LANDINC. M.P.’S APPRECIATION. Mr Gwynne (Unionist M.P. for Eastbourne) presiding at the East Kent Colonisation Association meeting, eulogised the arrangements at Australian ports for meeting emigrants, and the action of the Australian clergy in welcoming them.
