THE PRINCE AS MOTORIST.

DROVE HIS CAR WITH SKILL AFTER ONLY THREE DAYS’ COACHING. With characteristic thoroughness the Prince of Wales has now made himself, quite famliar not only with motor car driving, but with the mechanical details of motor cars. During the Christmas holidays His Royal Highness devoted himself at Sandringham to the practical study of motor car construction, and has learnt all about the mechanism so that he may have some knowledge of the causes of breakdowns. Ho applied himself thoroughly to the task, and was much helped by Mr Undecimus Stratton, well known in the motor manufacturing world, who previously undertook the training of the King’s motor car drivers. The Prince showed extraordinary aptitude, and on the third day he was out with a car and drove it himself with all the assurance of an expert motorist.
