Quigley, late of Gisborne, and now of Dannevirke, was among the successful candidates in the Teachers’ “C” examination. Much regret was expressed in Gisborne yesterday when it became known that Miss Stella. Fromm, eldest daughter of Mr. A. A. Fromm, had died at the. Hamilton Hospital- Miss Fromm had been in ill-health for some time past, and her medical adviser ordered her to the Cambridge Sanatorium. She did not improve, and about a week ago went into the Hamilton Hospital. Miss Fromm was very popular among the wide circle of friends to whom she had endeared herself by her kindly disposition. Much sympathy will be extended to the family in their sad bereavement.
