Out“ of resentment at the tramway fares, a mob attacked the gaol at Kingston . /They assaulted the Governor and His aide-de-camp. On attempting rescue party of constables took refuge in a liquor saloon. The police fired a volley, killing one rioter and wounding thirty. The mob then fled.
