HOSPITAL BOARD.
The Cook Hospital and Charitable Aid, Board met last evening. Present; Hon. Ca-pt. Tucker (im tire dhair), Messrs .H. Kenway, T. Jex Blake, G. W. Humphreys, Johnston, Webb and Lysnar. ' The Health Inspector (Mr F. 'J. York) reporter that from January 20 to Februray 13 he had Investigate cl the following cases: —13 eases of typhoid, 3 of scarlet fever, 1 of diptherm. and 2 of tuberculosis. He had made 1,. disinfection{s, totalling 33 rooms, and bad also made two sanitary in spcctions. ( He had visited Muinwai, Tawapata and Ngat-apa one, and Waitui twice. He would like to bring nude"* the notice of the Board ttie kind way in which the Borough and City Councils had allowed their inspectors to assist him. The report was adopted.
